Proverbs 3:27-34

27Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. 28 Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you” when you already have it with you. 29 Do not plot harm against your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you. 30 Do not accuse anyone for no reason when they have done you no harm. 31 Do not envy the violent or choose any of their ways. 32 For the Lord detests the perverse but takes the upright into his confidence. 33 The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous. 34 He mocks proud mockers but shows favor to the humble and oppressed.

Proverbs 21:2-3

A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart. To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

Proverbs 30:5

Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

Psalm 119: 7,10,12,18,28,29,33-37,41,66,73

I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws...

10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands...

12 Praise be to you, Lord; teach me your decrees...

18 Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law...

28 My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word...

29 Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law...

33 Teach me, Lord, the way of your decrees, that I may follow it to the end.

34 Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart. 35 Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.

36 Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.

37 Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word...

41 May your unfailing love come to me, Lord, your salvation, according to your promise...

66 Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I trust your commands...

73 Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands.

Psalm 19:7-9

The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.

Matthew 5:16

16 ...Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5: 43-45

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven.

Luke 8: 5-8, 11-15

“A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up. Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown.”

11 “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. 14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

Luke 11:28

28 ...“Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

Mark 1:15

15 “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 17:24

24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

Jesus wants you to be close to him, to love him and allow him to take away whatever is holding you back or bringing you down. Jesus wants you to be free of all the worries and burdens you have so that you can be happy. Let Jesus fill you with his love, peace, strength and joy. Search for Jesus, ask for forgiveness and repent of all the wrong from your past. Jesus loves you today, tomorrow, forever and will take you by the hand and walk with you every day, every step of the way.

Ecclesiastes 3:17

17 ...“God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.”

Ecclesiastes 11:9-10

You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment. 10 So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body, for youth and vigor are meaningless.

1 Timothy 1:12-14

12 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. 13 Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
